What information will we use?

When you undertake to use Bounty Network to refer your friend to jobs and apply for them yourself, we will collect and use certain information about you. This information includes your name, email address, the name and email address of the friend to whom you are referring, and your relevant activity on Bounty Network (together “your information”). In the event that (a) a friend of yours is offered a job to which you referred them, or (b) you successfully apply for a job that you yourself identified as a good fit for yourself on Bounty Network, you are entitield to claim the relevant bounty payment. In order to make this payment out to you, Bounty Network will request your bank details via email.

Who will we share your information with?

By using Bounty Network to refer jobs to friends, you consent to us sharing your details within Bounty Network. By using Bounty Network to apply for a job, you yourself consent to us sharing your information with that specific employer. If in receipt of a bounty payment from Bounty Network, we will not disclose this information to anyone. Other than the disclosures referred to in this policy, we will not disclose any personal information without your permission unless we are legally entitled or obliged to do so.

How will your information be used?

We will use your information to keep you informed on the progress of any referrals and applications you make, as well as to make bounty payments if necessary. The employers we share your information with will use it to include you as a candidate in their application process. We will also use your information to select and send information on opportunities, products or services which we believe, based on your profile, are likely to interest you.

What choices do I have?

You may choose any of the following options with regards to the information you receive from Bounty Network:

1. Choose to receive marketing information through Bounty Network, from Bounty Network, or Bounty Network’s clients and third parties deemed appropriate by Bounty Network. This is the default option that becomes active when you accept our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy;
2. Choose to only receive marketing information through Bounty Network and to not receive marketing information directly from Bounty Network’s clients and third parties deemed appropriate by Bounty Network; or
3. Choose not to be contacted for marketing purposes. In order to exercise your choices as listed above, please email info@bountynetwork.com stating your preferred settings.

Transferring your information outside the European Economic Area

Where recruitment opportunities are situated overseas your information may need to be transferred to countries outside of the European Economic Area (“EEA”). These countries may not have similar data protection laws to the EEA. If we transfer your information outside of the EEA in this way, we will endeavour to ensure that your privacy rights continue to be protected.

IP addresses

When you visit the Website, we log your IP address (the unique address which identifies your computer on the internet) which is automatically recognised by our web server. We do not link IP addresses to personally identifiable information.

Transfer of ownership

If we sell or transfer Bounty Network to another company, we may transfer all of our rights and obligations under these terms of use without any further consent and may disclose or transfer all information we hold about Bounty Network’s users to a prospective or actual new owner. Such a disclosure or transfer will not alter the rights of such users in respect of the use that can be made of such information by such other company.
